Our Personnel

Peter Cooke

Peter Cooke is committed to developing and promoting agriculture through effective marketing and business development strategies. He has a proven ability to build and maintain successful partnerships between the public and private sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of the Kondinin Group for 10 years he initiated the successful growth of an organisation unique in its role of providing independent information for Australian agriculture.

Three years into the development of Agknowledge, leadership of key issues and successful integration of consultancy outcomes have been a hallmark of the business. Innovative strategic development, executive mentoring and relationship management to deliver lifetime customer value has been a feature of recent work.

Peter Cooke’s appointment to a range of Board positions at a national and state level is a mark of his skill in working across industry sectors to improve agriculture. Of particular interest is the ability to strategically, and tactically, link the Intellectual Capital of an organisation to the effective delivery of customer-demanded products.

Nicol Taylor

Nicol Taylor is a communications specialist with valuable experience in developing corporate communications and marketing strategies for public and private sector organisations. Her skills in strategic planning and policy development, combined with a sound working knowledge of the media, ensure Agknowledge can rapidly grow the corporate profile of clients. While working with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as a journalist and broadcaster Nicol developed a wide network of agricultural and communication industry contacts throughout Australia.

Nicol is a Director of Agknowledge. Nicol is committed to promoting agricultural awareness in the wider community and has produced educational and promotional materials for major rural industry organisations. As the author of the popular Workboot Series of children’s books she was the driving force behind the highly successful national promotion of these important agricultural industry education and promotion tools. Nicol was responsible for the development and production of the supporting Workboot Series Teacher Resource Kits which have introduced agriculture into school classrooms across Australia and educated a new generation of Australian consumers about our farming industries.

Deborah King

Deborah has a detailed understanding of publishing and the print industry. She has worked in the areas of magazine and book production, journalism, desktop publishing and photography, including four years developing and producing Australia’s leading rural magazine, Farming Ahead.

Having managed the Kondinin Group’s publishing team, Deborah has an understanding of agricultural systems throughout Australia and is experienced at promoting the practical application of new technology using integrated delivery systems.

Deborah has practical farm experience and tertiary qualifications in agriculture and English. She adds depth to the Agknowledge information network having worked in the industrial relations sector and for Western Australian wine makers Evans & Tate.
