Stelle International Pty Ltd (“Stelle International”) is a Canberra based private company that commenced operations in June 1999.

We are a specialist consulting company to agribusiness, committed to delivering the highest quality service in executive search and selection based on the principles of integrity, responsiveness, quality and attention to detail.  The company recruits professionals across the full spectrum of agribusiness and its associated disciplines, and at all levels from Chief Executive Officer to Trainee.  Our strategy is based on quality and value rather than volume.

The principals of Stelle International are career agribusiness specialists, with in-depth knowledge of the Australian and international agriculture, food and biotechnology sector, both private and public.  They have been involved in all areas of agribusiness including R&D, production, marketing, financial and policy decision making, human resources and executive management.  As agribusiness specialists the company is intimately familiar with industry requirements and can offer a tightly focused search and selection process to help clients find the right people for their needs.  Stelle International’s affiliations in Europe and the USA allow the company to source expertise internationally, should this be required, thus broadening the field of suitable candidates.

Undertaking the Assignment

We believe in tailoring our services to address the varying, often complex requirements of our client rather than providing “off-the-shelf” solutions that may not meet your specific needs. 

Our approach involves taking the time and effort to understand the client’s goals, objectives and strategies so that we can share the same vision while bringing our own strengths and added value.

Whichever strategy is adopted for the recruitment of staff, it is important that Stelle International adds value throughout the entire process, complementing the skills and knowledge present amongst the client's existing staff and management

With each assignment, a principal of Stelle International will manage the project from briefing to finalisation thus ensuring continuity together with clear responsibility and accountability for results through each phase of the assignment.

Our Tasks

The range of tasks covered by Stelle International include:

¨        advertising and search;

¨        weekly reporting to the client on progress with the assignment;

¨        meeting with the client, as required, to discuss in detail, aspects of the selection and search process and the status thereof;

¨        screening all candidates and development of a 'candidate matrix';

¨        in-depth interviews;

¨        report preparation on each short-listed candidate;

¨        scheduling client interviews;

¨        arranging psychological assessments if required – please note that our methodology involves a tailored process for the position including interviewing by the psychologist;

¨        in-depth reference checking and enquiries (due diligence);

¨        negotiation of remuneration with the successful candidate;

¨        responding to all unsuccessful candidates; and

¨        ongoing follow-up with client and successful candidate to ensure a successful integration.
